OIDC identity tokens for Edge Functions (workload identity federation)
David15999 requests the implementation of short-lived OIDC JWTs for Edge Functions to enable identity verification with third-party services. This feature would eliminate the need for long-lived secrets and allow workload identity federation with major cloud providers. Currently, they use a relay on Vercel due to its identity attestation capabilities.
